An Estonian infantry unit has assumed its duties in a United Nations-led peacekeeping mission in Lebanon.

The Estonian unit belongs to a 500-strong Finnish-Irish force FINIRISHBATT, which is part of UN's UNIFIL mission.

The unit flew to Lebanon last Tuesday, May 26.
