Reform Party Reputation Damaged by IRL, Says Mikser
Head of the Social Democrats, Sven Mikser, said that the Reform Party could swap out a few IRL ministers as the government's reputation has been disproportionally damaged by IRL.
Mikser said on ETV's “Foorum” program on Wednesday evening that he would not be surprised if the Reform Party asks IRL to change a few ministers, having been forced to swap out two of their own since the last elections.
He said ministries under IRL leadership have been hit by scandals the most, highlighting problems with Elron, power plants and Estonian Air, which have all been run by Juhan Parts's Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Center Party MP Aivar Riisalu said the Reform Party has played its hand very well, and has cemented political power for the next 5 to 15 years, similar to dominant political forces in Belarus and Russia.
He said Siim Kallas will become the Prime Minister, and lead the party to victory at the next elections. After the election they will have a backup in Kaja Kallas, who could later become the nation's first female prime minister.
