Russian Major General Aleksey Zavizon, born in Narva, Estonia, is in charge of the separatist military headquarters in Donetsk, said Markian Lubkivskyi, a senior adviser at the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to Lubkivsky, Zavizon is responsible for moving military personnel and hardware in Donetsk to direct conflict zones. The Ukrainian official also said Zavizon supervised the attacks on Ukrainian cities of Mariupol and Kramatorsk.
