Ilves Visits Poland
President Toomas Hendrik Ilves is flying to Poland for a three-day visit.
He will meet Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski and take part in an ambassadors' conference where he will speak about the Baltic perspective on Central and Western Europe, a press release said.
Ilves will then head to the Jozef Pilsudski Museum in Sulejowek to open a memorial plaque in honor of former Estonian commander in chief Johan Laidoner.
In 2011, a memorial plaque dedicated to Pilsudski, commander of the Polish army in the Polish-Soviet war in 1919-1921, was unveiled at the Estonian War Museum.
