Tech University's Open Program Welcomes Applicants
Registration for this year's Open University program at the Tallinn University of Technology, a project designed to give anyone with a secondary school diploma the chance to obtain a higher education, will take place from August 15 to September 15.
"Constant self-improvement shows how humanity has evolved, going from the telegraph to Skype. To keep up with the times, the Open University offers students development and additional knowledge in preferred subjects at a desired pace," said Marika Olander, head of the program.
Students enrolled in the program can either intensively follow the curriculum of their chosen specialty or select classes on only their favorable subject.
Besides being eligible to attend lectures from both the evening and distance training programs, Open University students can also opt to attend daytime classes.
Courses for external students, those who want to take examinations and assessments without having to regularly attend class, are also available within the program.
The program allows students to obtain a degree or training with courses conducted in Estonian, Russian or English.
