Nation Ranked Among Worst for School Bullying
A new report by the World Health Organization has found that schools in Estonia have the second highest rates of bullying in Europe.
In its first report on youth violence, the organization's European office found that 22 percent of school children in Estonia aged 12 to 16 had been victims of bullying. Slovenia topped the list at 28 percent, while Germany was third worst with 18 percent, Postimees reported.
The study showed that 5 percent of the Estonian children surveyed had been victims of physical violence.
The findings, which were released in London this week, were based on data collected in 2006-2007.
