The Long Weekend's Weather: Sunshine on Monday
Soldiers and spectators at the traditional February 24 Independence Day parade will welcome the warm temperatures, a change from the usual minus 20 C affair.
If the Meteorology and Hydrology Institute is to be believed, the warm spell will continue for the foreseeable future, with temperatures peaking at 6 C on Monday.
A low front crossing Estonia on Saturday will increase already un-February temperatures up to 4 C in southern part of the nation. But the warm air comes with a price, as rain or sleet is also expected in most areas.
Occasional showers are likely to turn to overcast by Sunday and, fittingly, sunshine on Monday when temperatures should be around 4 C across the country, and reaching 6 C in Tartu and southern Estonia.
