Mine Ships Find 25 Explosive Devices
A NATO operation to remove mines from Estonian waters found 25 mines dating back to the world wars.
Seven of the mines have already been destroyed with the rest also in line for destruction, the Headquarters of the Defense Forces said on Wednesday.
The mines were orginially dropped by the Soviet Union, Germany, the Netherlands and France.
The operation also mapped 100 boat wrecks and sinkers, which are weights to which mines were moored.
