Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet said the nation will send a rescue team to help Bosnia deal with flooding, while Serbia, also affected, refused assistance.

The ministry has released 87,000 euros for the mission, which would also include aid for Serbia, if necessary.

Serbia and Bosnia are in the midst of the worst flooding the two nations have seen since modern records began. At least 35 people have died so far after the equivalent of three months worth of rain fell on the two nations in just a few days.

Paet expressed condolences to those who have suffered.
