Ilves: Difference in worldview between EU and Russia is cause for concern (1)
Hosting heads of state from the other Baltic states and Poland at a manor in northern Estonia on Tuesday, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and his colleagues discussed security, the issue that has dominated regional affairs in 2014.
"We cannot turn back to business as usual," stressed Ilves in his introductory comments, after dramatic changes in the West's relationship with a newly aggressive Russia over the year. In further comments, he touched on the starkness of the differences between how democracy is viewed in Russia and in the West.
The above video, in English, starts off with candid scenes from a photo op and continues with the full content of the news conference at Kau Manor, with comments by Latvian President Andris Bērziņš, Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė and Polish President Bronisław Komorowski.
