Jehovah's witnesses are planning a mass gathering in Estonia at the end of July, with over 8,000 expected to take part in the event at the A. Le Coq national football stadium.

Around 1,000 people from the United States alone are expected, with guests also arriving from Russia, Scandinavia, Finland, Latvia, and Lithuania.

A spokesman for the Estonian branch of the movement, Tan Silliksaar, said that Estonia's 4,000 members will do their best to welcome the guests to Tallinn. Excursions, day-trips and other entertainment will be organized, as many of those who arrive will stay for a week or more.
