Thousands of people flocked to the southern Estonian city of Viljandi over the weekend, to enjoy music and atmosphere at the Viljandi Folk Music Festival.

The annual festival has been running in Viljandi since 1993 and now attracts tens of thousands of people each year. As such, it is one of the largest annual music festivals in Estonia and among the largest folk music festivals in Europe.

The theme of this year's festival was "Freedom".
