Millions rallied across France for unity in the face of terrorism. Estonia was represented by Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus at a rally in Paris to show support for the French people after 20 died in terrorist strikes in the nation's capital.

Back home, Estonians also showed support with events in Tallinn and Tartu. About 100 people gathered on Freedom Square on Saturday  A number of well-known Estonian public figures could be spotted in the crowd, including artist, political cartoonist and politician Heinz Valk, historian David Vseviov, journalist Erkki Bahovski, political analyst and columnist Ahto Lobjakas, and politicians Andres Herkel, Silver Meikar, Igor Gräzin, and Hanno Pevkur, among others.

The rally in Tallinn was organized by the local French community.
