Municipal police were called to investigate a noxious smell on Saturday evening in the Nõmme district of Tallinn.

The source turned out to be an illegal trash dump in the garden of an empty house with a “for sale” sign. The trash, which included dozens of buckets of mayonnaise had began to turn sour and the smell spread to neighboring houses.

The trash caught fire a few hours later and firemen were dispatched to the scene. The municipal police have began an investigation.

The 22-year-old Timo ordered 6 grams of the drug from the Czech Republic for around 30 euros in January, but the package was opened by customs officials and 5.45 grams of cannabis found.
