2014 honors list published; Hodges, Bildt to receive recognition
President Toomas Hendrik Ilves will hand out 99 state decorations, same number as last year, with Siim Kallas, Andrus Ansip and Timothy John Berners-Lee receiving high honors.
Kallas will be handed the Order of the National Coat of Arms first class, Ansip second class and out-going Chancellor of Justice Indrek Teder third class, in a ceremony on February 23.
Carl Bildt has been awarded the Order of the White Star (first class), US Lieutenant General Ben Hodges the Order of the Cross of the Eagle (second class) and Timothy John Berners-Lee, inventor of the world wide web, the Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana.

The Order of the National Coat of Arms (Riigivapi teenetemärk) is given to Estonian citizens for services to the state. The Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana (Maarjamaa Risti teenetemärk) is bestowed on foreign citizens who have rendered special services to Estonia. The Order of the White Star (Valgetähe teenetemärk) is for services in state public service, local government or for foreigners. The Order of the Cross of the Eagle (Kotkaristi teenetemärk) is for military service of national defense, and the Order of the Estonian Red Cross (Eesti Punase Tisti teenetemärk) is rendered for humanitarian services and for saving lives.
