Four Tallinn strip clubs are under investigation by the Consumer Protection Board as the business signs on their premises could be violating the Advertising Act.

Eesti Päevaleht reported today that the board opened its investigation after the Tallinn City Government, which is by law is required to look into such problems, refused to do so.

According to the act, advertisements, including business signs, may not depict people as sexual objects or have a sexual undertone.

The names of the four clubs have not been disclosed.
