The internal affairs unit of the police has launched an investigation after 29 police officers allegedly left work a few hours early on December 24 and 25 last year.

The case concerns traffic police in Harju County, where, allegedly, the police officers finished their shift a few hours early, Delfi reported. The case concerns an entire shift of traffic police in the county.

Anne Abel, of the internal affairs department, said the investigation could take half-a-year due to the high number of people involved.
