The Road Administration is installing cameras in buses operating on public bus services to stop bus drivers from keeping ticket sales money for themselves.

In the past six years, cameras have already been set up in buses traveling in Järva, Rapla, Lääne, Valga and Harju counties, Postimees reported.

Mika Männik of the Road Administration, said income from ticket sales increased by 20 percent after cameras were installed in buses in Järva County in 2009, while in Harju County, 58 cameras boosted ticket sales by four percent in the first month.
