Genealogy website Geni.com has taken interest in incorporating Estonia's Haudi cemetery database in its search engine.

Haudi has collected data on all cemeteries in Estonia, allowing users to find the burial site of relatives by simply writing a name in the search engine, Eesti Päevaleht reported on Monday.

A deal with Geni being explored would allow users of the international site, where people can create their online family trees, to locate the burial places of their ancestors through Haudi.

Haudi shows the the birth and death dates of the deceased, and if users have added them, pictures and life stories.

Geni contains lineage information on 70 million people around the world.
