Norway's Östensen Wins Tartu Marathon
The 42nd Tartu ski marathon was won by Norwegian Simen Östensen, with the best Estonians taking 11th and 18th place.
Östensen's time in the 63-kilometer classical style ski race, in which thousands took part on Sunday morning, was 2:45:02, sport.err.ee reported.
Sweden's Jörgen Brink, who won the event last year, finished second, followed by another Norwegian, Börre Näss.
Algo Kärp led the way for the host country with an 11th place finish while Raido Ränkel was 18th.
The fastest woman was Swede Sandra Hansson.
