The later stages of the football World Cup will be shown on a giant screen in Tallinn's Freedom Square, despite Estonia again not making the tournament.

Games will be shown on July 8, 9 and 12 starting at 22:30. The final will be shown on July 13 beginning at 21:30, said Kristi Kurell, the organizer of the event.

IRL's Tallinn councilman Tarmo Kruusimäe, a long-time head of a national football team support club, said when it comes to watching football, the more the merrier.

Around 500 people are expected to attend the games there. Big-screen games were also viewed from Freedom Square during the Euro 2012 tournament.
