Sports Round-Up: Two Kinds of Football
The Estonian national football team beat Azerbaijan 2-1 on Friday, in this year's last home game.
Playing with a second-rate defense due to injuries, Estonia's attacking prowess bought the team its third home win out of eight. As Estonia lost only two home games in 2013, the result means the team's home record for the year was more than .500.
Rauf Alijev opened the scoring for the visitors inthe 44th minute, after a terrible mistake by debutant Artjom Artjunin. But second-half goals from Sergei Zenjov (54th minute) and Joel Lindpere (66th minute) made that mistake irrelevant.
Estonia will face Liechtenstein away on Tuesday. ERR has the privilege to live stream Tuesday's game exclusively, with the home team bowing out on broadcast rights.

Margus Hunt's NFL team, the Cincinnati Bengals, are leading their division after beating the Cleveland Browns 41-20 over the weekend.
The Estonian rookie has featured in recent games, but mostly only sporadically.

Siim Liivik, a ice hockey player in the top Finnish league, one of the best leagues in the world, has signaled that he is willing to play for the Estonian national team.
Liivik was raised in Finland, but has Estonian parents and citizenship.
The Estonian team may need his help, as the last time they were in the press was in April, when the team arrived back from the Ice Hockey World Championship so intoxicated that some could not stand up. They lost all games at the tournament.
