Swimmer Liivamägi Finishes 25th in Medley Heats
Estonian swimmer Martin Liivamägi ended his run in the London Olympics on Wednesday, finishing in 25th place in the men's 200m individual medley heats.
His time of 2:01.09 was nearly four seconds behind that of the best time in the competitions, which was achieved by Hungary's Laszlo Cseh.
As with his placement in the 100m breaststroke on Saturday, where he finished in 29th position, the results were not enough for advancement to the semifinals.
The 24-year-old Liivamägi, a member of the University of California at Berkeley swim team, won a bronze medal in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Division I NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships in March.
