GALLERY: 1,500 Watch Final on Freedom Square, Nearly 200,000 on TV

Around 1,500 people watched Sunday night's football World Cup final at Tallinn's Freedom Square.

A total of 4,000 people watched the two semifinals, the third-place match and the final on a giant screen on the square.

Both the semi-final games were watched by over 100,000 people, with 189,000 tuning in for the final. Another 10,000 watched Germany beat Argentina via a mobile device or computer.

Non-ethnic Estonians made up 12 percent of the TV-viewing audience during the final, according to data from TNS Emor.
