The Estonian top football league is rounding into a pecking order, with FC Infonet in Tallinn on course to mix up the usual cast of actors.

Last year's sixth place team continues to refuse to give up its title hopes. FC Infonet beat Narva Trans on Friday, 4-0.

Nõmme Kalju beat Sillamäe Kalev 1-0, to move into first and push Sillamäe further down the league to fifth.

The other three top-four teams all won on Friday and Saturday and are now separated only by four points. Flora is second with 24 points, followed by Infonet (23) and last year's champion, FC Levadia (22).

At the other end of the league, last year's struggler, Tartu Tammeka, picked up an unexpected win against mid-table Paide Linnameeskond, winning 4-0 at home.

Scottish club Motherwell, home to Henri Anier, beat rival Aberdeen 1-0 in the final game of the league to clinch second place at the expense of Aberdeen.

Estonian national team striker Anier began on the bench for Motherwell, but came in the game in the 18th minute.

Anier, who is on loan at the club for the season, scored nine goals in 33 games to lead the club to one of its most successful seasons in years.

Estonian defensive rock Ragnar Klavan scored his second Bundesliga goal of the season, hitting the back of the net in the final game of the German top-league to bring his team, FC Augsburg, all three points in a 2-1 victory over Frankfort.

The result did not matter much in the end, as FC Augsburg ended eighth in the league, one point behind Mainz and European qualification.

Klavan signed a two-year extension to his contract with the club shortly before the game.
