As far as Grand Slam rounds go, this one was a bit of a respite for top Estonian tennis player Kaia Kanepi.

In an hour-long match, Kaia Kanepi dealt with 126th ranked Alison Riske fairly handily, 6-2, 6-3 today. It came just a day after a dramatic victory over Angelique Kerber of Germany.

Kanepi had four aces and just one double fault against Riske. Riske 's numbers were the other way around - four double faults and one ace.

Kamepi capitalized on four of seven break points and outscored Riske 59-39.

As expected, Kanepi will face a tougher challenge yet in the round of 16  - the young Briton, 38th ranked Laura Robson, who beat Marina Erakovic today in three sets.
