Police in Tallinn detained on August 15 a fugitive from St. Petersburg who is wanted in Russia for a contract killing.

The suspect, Mikhail Krishyan, 47, has been listed as “wanted” by Interpol since 2011, reported uudised.err.ee.

Krishyan was reportedly detained when he pulled up to a Tallinn restaurant. He had been driving a Jaguar with a false Latvian license plate and using a false driver's license.

Krishyan has been charged with killing a businessman, Alexey Volnukhin, in 2010. Russian authorities believe that he is also connected with the murder of another businessman, Mikhail Karachev, among other crimes.
