Estonian Travelers Given Visa-Free Access to Kyrgyzstan
Estonian citizens can now enter Kyrgyzstan and stay for 60 days without obtaining a visa thanks to a new law announced yesterday by Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev.
The same law establishes visa freedom for citizens of 43 other countries, according to the president's website.
Kyrgyz citizens still need visas to visit Estonia, a Schengen Zone country, a spokeswoman for the Estonian Foreign Ministry confirmed.
Foreign Minister Urmas Paet said the ministry is continuing to work to increase the number of countries Estonians can visit without applying for a visa.
