Officers School Cadets Win Pitka Challenge

The first Admiral Pitka reconnaissance challenge was won by a team from the Officers School. The runners-up were from the home guard's 1st Pärnu district and the Tartu district.

All 18 of the teams finished this year, including ones from five other countries and one all-female team, from the women's home guard Tallinn district.

The best international competitor was the Lithuanian team, which came fifth.

The winning team was made up of Taniel Klettenberg, Priit Lillemets, Janari Jaansoo and Valdo Hälvin, the Defense League said in a statement.

The finish of the Pitka challenge was on Saturday in Rummu.

The competition, which replaces the Erna Raid and is organized by many of the same organizations, will be held in a different location in Estonia each year.
