Non-Coms Complete Raven Training
NCOs responsible for operating Raven unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Afghanistan completed two weeks of training in the United States.
The Defence Forces will start using the Ravens at the end of this year, according to the General Staff.
"All of the defense forces personnel who took part in these courses received a UAV Raven operator's certificate," said Senior Warrant Officer Raul Orman, one of the trainees. Regular trainings will continue to be held, and operating procedures will be developed, quoth the NCO.
