Ilves heads to Davos
Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves has traveled to the Swiss town of Davos for the 2015 World Economic Forum.
Estonia will take part for the second year running, with Ilves set to speak on panels focusing on geopolitics, economy, IT, e-elections and Ukraine. A year ago, Ilves spoke about democracy, human rights and the rule of law, saying Ukraine had to adopt these values if it wanted closer cooperation with the EU.
Ilves will speak on the FIghting Shadows panel on Saturday. The topic is cyber security and a live webcast will be available here.
Skype co-founder Jaan Tallinn has also made the trip to Davos.
