President Summons Meeting of Nat'l Defense Council on Ukraine
President Toomas Hendrik Ilves has summoned the national defense council to discuss the Ukraine situation on Wednesday.
The meeting is expected to be attended by the Information Board director, Internal Security Service director and Defense Forces intelligence battalion commander, Postimees reported.
It will evaluate the current state of the crisis and draw conclusions for how Estonia's national defense structures shoudl proceed.
The council also includes the Speaker of Parliament, Prime Minister, Parliamentary National Defence Committee and Foreign Affairs Committee chairmen, Foreign Minister, Defense Minister, Finance Minister, Interior Minister, Justice MInister and commander in chief of the Defense Forces.
