Free Estonian language lessons for 200 Ida-Viru teachers
From August, an education ministry funded project, run by the Integration and Migration Foundation Our People (MISA), will begin to teach Estonian on B2 and C1 levels to 195 education workers in the predominantly Russian-speaking Ida-Viru County.
Jana Tondi, of MISA, said that all who wanted to participate were accommodated, and twice-a-week lessons will begin in mid-August for kindergarten, school and vocational school teachers, and other education workers, Postimees reported.
The program will also offer more intense study sessions during school breaks and the course will be followed by a test.
