Tallinn Tech Students Visit Silicon Valley
Tallinn University of Technology is sending three students on a week-long trip to Silicon Valley in April, to help develop a new technological concept.
The students were the winners of a competition for innovative business ideas. Their idea is to create a TV set that analyzes and stores viewer emotions with the help of cameras, so that the television can itself suggest programming suited to the viewer's personal taste.
In September, the university opened an office in Silicon Valley. Economic majors Zahhar Kairjak, Kaarel Oja ja Kadri Tolsberg will be given a chance to visit the center and work with researchers from Berkeley and Stanford.
