Eesti Post's Package Service Disrupted by Cyber Attack
A cyber attack on a central package system in Poland used by Eesti Post has disrupted package delivery in the Baltics.
“The attack was not aimed at Eesti Post or Post24,” Mait Sooaru, a Eesti Post board member said in a press release today. Pos24 is Eesti Post's automated package delivery service.
He said the attack was a against Integer, a Polish producer of parcel terminals and consisted of barrage if visits, which overcrowded the system.
The state-owned company's automated package terminals are currently not working, and deliveries sent yesterday could also arrive late.
The company has 167 such terminals in the Baltics.
