Another Golden Performance for Physics Student
A physics student at the University of Tartu finished second in a yearlong international academic tournament.
The finals of World Physics Olympiad held from December 28 to January 3 in Lombok, Indonesia, were contested by 109 students from 15 countries.
Estonia was represented by Ants Remm, who won the gold, which is awarded in this case to the second overall finisher.
At the finals, participants pit their skills in theory in experiments with students who received gold medals at other international Olympiads.
Last year Remm won a gold medal in Thailand at the International Physics Olympiad.
