UEFA Schedules Tallinn Round Table
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) plans to hold a round table in Tallinn next November.
As part of the Top Executive Program (TEP), leaders from the football associations of eight countries - the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland and Sweden - will meet with the heads of the UEFA.
TEP was created to support individual country associations, including in funding support, such as television-rights revenue. Through TEP, national associations have succeeded in changing important policies, including the enlargement of the final round of the European Championship from 16 to 24 nations.
The last major UEFA events to be held in Tallinn were a licensing and media seminar in 2009, and the annual congress in 2005.
