Estonia Drops 6 Rungs in FIFA Rankings
Following the all-time high it set last month, the Estonian National Football Team dropped six places in the FIFA table to land in 53rd place for April.
Despite the slide, the team's current position is far better than it was most of last year, when it hovered in the 70s and 80s, and light-years ahead of the record low 137th place the country hit in October of 2008.
In this month's FIFA rankings, released April 11, Spain topped the list for the seventh month in a row, followed by Germany in the number two spot. Uruguay came in third, sending the Netherlands out of the top three for the first time since May 2010.
