Preliminary team to face Switzerland, Iceland in March named
Magnus Pehrsson, the head of the national football team, has named 32 men for the Euro 2016 qualifier against Switzerland and Raio Piiroja's testimonial game against Iceland, both matches taking place at the end of March.
Frank Liivak is perhaps the most surprising absentee. The 18-year-old, who is considered one of the brightest talents to come out of Estonia in recent years, joins the under-21 team.
Captain Ragnar Klavan and Joel Lindpere both have a chance to collect their 100th cap, with Klavan on 99 and Lindpere on 98.
Estonia travels to Switzerland on March 27 and hosts Iceland four days later in Tallinn, for Piiroja's last ever game for the national team.
