The Estonian football team is preparing to take on England in the second-to-last EURO 2016 qualifying match in London on Friday, with the head coach remaining optimistic.
“We still have a chance, even if it is a small one, we still have a chance, which is positive. We should enjoy playing at Wembley and test ourselves,” Magnus Pehrsson told ETV.
The team, currently fourth in the group, came together for the first time in over a month on Monday, and will take on England on Friday, before hosting Switzerland in Tallinn three days later.
Estonia will need to beat both, and hope currently third Slovenia slips up against either Lithuania or San Marino, so that Estonia would overtake it and advance to the play-offs.
Around 1,000 Estonian fans are expected to travel to London for Friday's match. 850 purchased a ticket through the Estonian Football Association.
Friday's match will be shown live on ETV at 21:30 (Estonian time), but it will only be available to those residing in Estonia.
