TM Factory Racing's Aigar Leok is holding on to third place in E3 class with the Chile and Argentina rounds of the Enduro World Championship (WEC) now behind him.

He posted a fourth place in his class - the largest, up to 500 cc two-stroke or 650 cc four-stroke engine - on both days in the Argentina round of the off-road motorcycle event.

Each round in the WEC consists of a two-day event, with points awarded based on the rankings on each day.

Leok had been in third on day 1 in Argentina on Saturday, but had a poor showing on one extreme test.

The second round continued the next day in the city of San Juan. Leok did not have the ups and downs of Saturday, and his undistinguished performance was good for fourth again.

The winner on each day was Christophe Nambotin (KTM), beating another KTM cyclist David Knight by 39.01 seconds.

The standings overall in the WEC are now Nambotin with 80 points, Knight with 64, Leok with 58 and Joakim Ljunggren with 54. The next round is on May 5 and 6 in Spain.
