AH1N1 Outbreak in Tallinn Prison
Twelve inmates of the capital's penitentiary have been diagnosed with the AH1N1 flu virus, or the so-called swine flu.
Ministry of Justice spokeswoman Diana Kõmmus told uudised.err.ee that infected inmates, all of who lived in the same bloc, have been quarantined.
"Restrictions on movement have been imposed inside the facility, and extended prison visits have been canceled. Only healthy inmates are allowed short-term visits," Kõmmus said.
The medical personnel continued testing inmates exhibiting flu-like symptoms for AH1N1. No cases of infection have been reported among the staff.
