Estonian basketball champions BC Kalev/Cramo have signed a three-year contract with the 24-year-old, 216-centimeter Senegalese center Bamba Fall.
However, during his first season with the club, Fall will probably have to content himself with the role of a bench player, because the club had previously already signed the Bulgarian player Nikolay Varbanov as the starting center, reported Postimees.
Fall spent four years playing for the NCAA college basketball team SMU in the US. In the starting lineup throughout the last year, he averaged 8.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
The club signed a long-term contract with Hall in the hopes of grooming him for the position of the starting center for the next season. According to the coaches, he is still raw as a player.
