This Weekend's Weather: Negative Creep
Although the low-pressure zone that caused umbrella sales to go through the roof earlier in the week may have decreased in strength, the summer sun will not make a return, with the Meteorology and Hydrology Institute predicting minus 1 C in places during the next few nights.
Kuressaare is the place to be tonight, with temperatures reaching 8 C and no rain predicted, if however you are one of the unlucky few outside of Saaremaa, expect rain, fog and temperatures far closer to, or in Jõgeva below, zero.
Saturday should see parity return, with temperatures across the nation hovering around 9 C and a slight chance or rain in most places. Wind speeds are expected to remain below 30 kilometers per hour.
Similar weather is predicted for Sunday, only one or two degrees cooler, and increased chances for showers, as a high-pressure area from the west battles for control of the nation.
Looking ahead, next week should be far drier, but temperature-wise, just as gloomy.
