Leaking Water Pipe Forces Emergency Landing for Estonian Air Flight
A Boeing 737 servicing an Estonian Air flight from Tallinn to Copenhagen on January 16, turned back to Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport shortly after takeoff.
Prompting the emergency landing was a leak in a drinking water pipe, which caused a malfunction in the plane's electrical system, the airline's spokeswoman, Ilona Eskelinen told uudised.err.ee.
The plane landed without incident, and passengers were delivered to Copenhagen with another flight in the afternoon.
The aircraft was submitted for a technical checkup.
