Fuel retailers have increased their prices
Price per liter of 95-octane petrol increased from €1.149 to 1.179 on Thursday, May 29.
For three weeks, the price remained on €1.149 per liter. Now, the price has increased by three cents in bigger gas stations.
The price of diesel fuel has remained the same - €0.999 per liter.
Board member of fuel retailer company Alexela Alan Vaht told ERR in the middle of May that the prices were probably going to increase. Vaht explained that fuel prices have started to increase around the world, following the slump earlier in the year due to plummeting world oil prices. However, he added that the prices can´t rise to particularly high levels in Estonia.
