Portal: Web application shows restrictions across EU
The European Commission has completed a web application which shows the restrictions imposed by the countries of the European Union to stop the spread of coronavirus, news portal Geenius reported.
According to Geenius (link in Estonian), the new application shows information about the restrictions in all European Union member states.
In Ireland, for example, the movement is highly restricted, but since June 8, 2020, people may travel within their own country; though it is possible to enter or leave with some limitations, all non-essential traveling to and from Ireland should be avoided.
Estonian citizens and residents can enter and leave Ireland, as they are not affected by the high risk of coronavirus transfer, and those who enter Ireland for the purposes of further travel to another jurisdiction, including Northern Ireland, are required to fill out a portion of a form (name and signature).
You can find out more about the restrictions on the Reopen Europe site.
