Gallery: Empty streets of Tallinn on Midsummer's Day
Whereas one can usually encounter a lot of vehicles and people on the streets of Tallinn, on Midsummer's Day, the city was emptier than usual.
There were only a few car drivers and public transport vehicles to be seen in the city and the streets seemed even more empty than during the emergency lockdown.
The capital usually empties for the Jaanipäev break as capital-dwellers head for the countryside; this year an added factor was the scant number of foreign tourists on the streets of the Old Town, as travel restrictions have only recently been lifted, or in some countries are still in place.
ERR photographer Siim Lõvi went to take photos of the streets of Tallinn.
