airBaltic restarts Tallinn-London direct flights on Saturday
Latvian carrier airBaltic will resume direct flights between Tallinn and London, starting Saturday, July 4, the company announced on Tuesday.
The flights are part of the resumption of services the company is unveiling following the lifting of most travel restrictions within the EU.
Departures are twice a week, according to the company's website, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, at 3.55 p.m. from Tallinn Lennart Meri Airport, landing at 5 p.m. local time at London Gatwick.
The return trip leaves Gatwick at 6.55 p.m., touching down in Tallinn at 10.30 p.m. local time.
From the last week in October, airBaltic has scheduled an extra service on Thursdays, as things stand on its website (please note departure and arrival times will change slightly on the new timetable).
The company says it is in the process of readjusting its flight schedule following the crisis and is operating a reduced fleet of planes.
After receiving all of the necessary permissions, @airBaltic plans to resume direct flights from Riga to London on July 1 and from Tallinn to London on July 4. In addition, new direct flights from Vilnius to London on July 1 will be launched. pic.twitter.com/ySeticYPRS
