The North Estonia Medical Center is easing restrictions put in place during the emergency situation and from Thursday patients can be visited in hospital. Wearing protective masks will no longer be mandatory.
On the recommendation of the Health Board, the hospital will ease its' current restrictions.
When entering through the main door of the hospital, it will also no longer be necessary to undergo a medical examination. A coronavirus test will not be carried out.
Preventive measures will continue to be observed and visitors are asked to disinfect or wash their hands properly, avoid touching their faces with dirty hands and to keep a safe distance.
Chief Physician Peep Talving said the risk of infection has not yet disappeared and asked for everyone to follow the rules.
